Early voting
in Kolding

You can vote early (advance vote) in any municipality in Denmark—not only Kolding. Bring valid ID. You don’t need your polling card for early voting. If you advance-vote, you can’t also vote on election day.

What to bring

Valid ID (for example: passport, driver’s licence, or the yellow health insurance card). You don’t need your polling card for early voting.

Step-by-step-guide

  1. Go to an early voting location during opening hours.

  2. Show your ID to the election official.

  3. You’ll receive the ballot materials and brief guidance (English help is available).

  4. Mark your ballot(s) privately and seal as instructed.

  5. Hand them in—your municipality delivers them to your polling place for election day.

Early voting abroad

You can advance-vote at Danish embassies/consulates starting Tue 19 Aug 2025. Your vote only counts if it arrives before voting starts (08:00) on election day, so vote early.
